ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

JOB SUMMARY

Oversee the club's daily operations. Working in conjunction with the General Manager, Office Manager and management team to ensure optimal member experience. The Assistant General Manager will take ownership to manage the club in the absence of the General Manager. Also, the Assistant General Manager will provide feedback to the overall PCKLRAMA organization on what’s working and what improvements can be made. 

JOB COMPENSATION

Full-Time Role

$60,000 per Year 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Supervise, mentor, and train departmental managers and staff
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and financial performance
  • Ensure exceptional service and address customer feedback
  • Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Create robust partnerships with vendors and service providers
  • Review and analyze sales, operational, and financial reports
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and quality standards

EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a similar field is desired
  • Prior managerial experience in a similar industry or role
  • Strong ability to lead, inspire, and manage teams
  • Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude for addressing challenges and implementing solutions
  • Capable of maneuvering and excelling in a rapidly changing setting 

COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES

  • Operational Oversight - Managing daily business operations, monitoring shifts, and ensuring procedures are followed
  • Staff Management - Hiring, training, and supervising employees, as well as handling disciplinary issues
  • Administrative Support - Drafting schedules, managing budgets, and assisting with administrative tasks
  • Customer Service - Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing customer issues
  • Leadership Support - Acting in the General Manager's absence and implementing company policies and strategies
  • Leadership - The ability to lead and motivate staff
  • Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational Skills - The capacity to handle multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
  • Problem Solving - The ability to solve problems and adapt to changes effectively
  • Management Experience - Previous experience in supervision or management is typically essential 

BENEFITS

Full-Time employees will be eligible to enroll in PCKLRAMA’s healthcare, dental and vision insurance after 60 days of employment and 401K after 1 year of employment. PCKLRAMA contributes to employees premiums based upon employment tenure and role designation. In addition, employees will receive discounted open play, lessons and merchandise at PCKLRAMA.
