COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER (PART-TIME)

A Community Relations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness and engagement with an organization or cause. This role involves planning and executing outreach strategies, and leading teams to achieve program objectives.  Identify target audiences, develop communication plans, and design effective engagement activities, perform screenings, and prioritize efforts. 

Part-Time Role - $30 per Hour 

Eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over 40

• Cultivate relationships with community leaders, partners, and volunteers to foster collaboration and support
• Supervise outreach coordinators, recruit volunteers, and other staff to ensure effective program implementation
• Track program effectiveness, gather feedback, and adjust programs as needed
• Effectively communicating the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives to various audiences
• Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and other engagement activities
• Foster relationships with other organizations to expand the organization's reach and impact
• Promote sponsoring opportunities for PCKLRAMA
• Screen and prioritize organizations and gather requirements from each organization

Undergraduate Degree from an accredited University (Desired) 

*Desired education can be replaced with (5) years of experience in Education, Community, Special Needs or working with Senior Citizens 

• Minimum of 5+ Years’ of Work Experience 
• Solid understanding of pickleball, pickleball rules & regulations
• Pickleball player with a minimum of 2.0 USA Pickleball rating
• Expertise working with customers, partners, vendors & employees

• Good communication skills, including diplomacy, writing correspondence, & presentations to individuals & groups
• Ability to qualify, assess and understand an organization’s mission, charter and value proposition
• Skilled in developing partnerships and managing sponsor relationships
• Looking to contribute to a dynamic organization and help grow its community outreach 
• Maintain strong relationships with communities, educational institutions, profit and non-profit organizations, serving as the primary point of contact and addressing their needs  
• Passion for community engagement and making social impact
